This month, we’ve taken another step toward improving Assembla’s search functionality to help you navigate through projects, tickets, code commits, merge requests, and more, more effectively. The latest update introduces the ability to switch between “Search in this space” and “Search in all spaces” directly in the Quick Search dropdown, making it easier to narrow or expand your focus as needed.
This enhancement builds on previous updates, that included advanced filters for tickets and merge requests and the ability to exclude activity from search results, all designed to improve your experience and save you time.
Beyond search, this release also includes security upgrades, performance improvements, and a range of bug fixes.

- The same logic applies to the “Versions” tab in the MR view, ensuring files remain marked as “Viewed” until they are modified in a subsequent push.
- [Fixed] Resolved regressions related to the Ruby upgrade.
- [Fixed] Fixed a bug where the Cardwall “Edit ticket” button failed upon the first attempt.
- [Fixed] Fixed CSS issue that caused the dropdown in the Ticket list UI to be partially hidden.
- [Fixed] Resolved an issue where Merge Request statuses were not being updated.
- [Fixed] Resolved an issue where creating a Wiki page with a title but no text content resulted in a 500 error.
- [Fixed] Resolved an issue where the portfolio manager was unable to view portfolio user email addresses in the profile view.

- [Fixed] Resolved Cardwall sorting issue where “Sort by priority” was incorrectly set and not synced with the sidebar filter option.
- [Fixed] Resolved issue where User Groups filtering was limited to the first page; it now works across all pages, addressing pagination issues.
