With Assembla Self-hosted, you get all the capabilities of our cloud-based solution, hosted on your own infrastructure.

- Full control: Run Assembla on your own servers, whether on-premises or in a private cloud environment.
- Custom deployment: Tailor the setup to align with your organization’s IT and security requirements.
- Same experience: Access the full feature set and seamless UI you already know from our cloud version.
Our support team is available to assist with migrating repositories and tickets to your on-prem or private cloud environment.
Portfolio Managers Can Now Request Profile Changes
We’ve added a new layer of control for Portfolio Managers. They can now suggest updates to user profile fields — such as name, email, or last name — directly from the user’s profile page.
Here’s how it works:
- The Portfolio Manager edits the fields and submits a change request.
- The next time the user refreshes their page, a popup appears allowing them to accept or reject the proposed changes.
- A direct link to the profile page is included for quick review.
